Applied AI Engineer

Job Summary

Innovating within the Silicon Co-Design Group, the full-time Applied AI Engineer will architect and implement AI solutions to enhance design and automation infrastructure, working remotely or onsite in Santa Clara.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy AI systems for LLM-powered validation pipelines to improve post-silicon validation processes
• Collaborate with multi-functional engineering teams to identify and build AI solutions that streamline workflows across the organization
• Evaluate emerging AI frameworks and technologies, establishing data systems to measure impact and drive continuous improvement

Required qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of experience in ML/AI systems
• 2+ years of applied AI experience managing an AI agent or LLM-powered workflow from prototype to production
• Strong proficiency in Python and at least one static programming language such as C, C++, C#, Java, or Scala
• Experience with deploying, monitoring, and debugging scalable AI/ML models
• Hands-on experience in a silicon development environment, including silicon bring-up and characterization using standard tools
