Applied AI Engineer

Job Summary

Innovating within the Silicon Co-Design Group, the full-time Applied AI Engineer will architect and implement AI solutions to enhance design and automation infrastructure, focusing on post-silicon validation and cross-team integration in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy AI systems to improve post-silicon validation processes across semiconductor environments
• Collaborate with multi-functional engineering teams to identify and build AI solutions that streamline workflows
• Evaluate emerging AI frameworks and establish metrics to measure the impact of AI initiatives

Required qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of experience in ML/AI systems
• 2+ years of experience in Applied AI, managing an AI agent or intelligent automation system from prototype to production
• Strong proficiency in Python and at least one static programming language (C, C++, C#, Java, or Scala)
• Hands-on experience in production testing, system validation, and silicon productization
• Experience in a silicon development environment, with knowledge of chip characterization and manufacturing metrics
