Applied AI Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Applied AI Engineer will develop and maintain LLM agent systems, automate engineering workflows, and contribute to the evolution of enterprise AI systems focused on enhancing health journeys through AI-powered experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain LLM agent systems using AWS Bedrock, LangChain, and LangSmith, focusing on core agent capabilities
- Build AI automation tools to enhance engineering workflows, including code review assistance and testing automation
- Implement safety-critical flows and manage model selection, ensuring system reliability and observability
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of backend engineering experience in a production environment, using Python or a similar programming language
- Demonstrable hands-on experience building and operating production LLM/agent systems
- Experience with LLM evaluation methods and safety mechanisms for LLM systems
- Working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and managed LLM services
- Experience in health tech or other high-trust, safety-sensitive domains
