Applied AI/ML Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of an advanced GeoAI platform, the full-time Applied AI/ML Engineer will design, build, and maintain AI systems for geospatial analysis, focusing on computer vision and LLM-driven workflows in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement agentic AI systems that automate the geospatial analysis cycle from question intake to report generation
• Train and deploy computer vision models, ensuring their accuracy and reliability through comprehensive evaluation and testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective AI solutions

Required qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related STEM field
• 4-6 years of experience in building and deploying machine learning systems
• Strong proficiency in Python and production software engineering practices, including Git and Docker
• Experience with deep learning models for computer vision tasks using frameworks like PyTorch
• Hands-on experience with LLM-powered applications and evaluating ML systems using appropriate metrics
