Job Summary
To enhance a cutting-edge GeoAI platform, the full-time Applied AI/ML Engineer will design and build intelligent systems for geospatial analysis, focusing on computer vision and LLM-driven workflows, while working in a hybrid environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain AI systems that automate geospatial analysis from question intake to report generation
- Train and deploy computer vision models for tasks such as object detection and segmentation using satellite imagery
- Conduct verification and validation of AI/ML outputs to ensure accuracy and reliability
Required qualifications:
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related STEM field
- 4-6 years of experience in building and deploying machine learning systems
- Strong proficiency in Python and software engineering practices including Git and Docker
- Experience with deep learning models for computer vision tasks using frameworks like PyTorch
- Hands-on experience with LLM-powered applications and evaluating ML systems using appropriate metrics
