Applied AI Scientist

Job Summary

Designing and deploying AI-driven applications, the full-time Applied AI Scientist will transform geospatial data into actionable insights while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven applications that leverage large-scale geospatial data
• Build and operate end-to-end AI/ML pipelines, including data ingestion, preprocessing, and production inference
• Productionize reasoning models and multimodal AI systems, optimizing for scalability and reliability

Required qualifications

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning systems in production environments
• Hands-on experience with deep learning models, particularly in vision-language models and multimodal learning
• Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in modern ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Experience deploying models into production using modern cloud infrastructure and containerized systems
