Job Summary
To support the development of autonomous defense mechanisms, the full-time Applied AI Scientist will build reasoning systems that translate proven attack paths into actionable security control changes while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Build reasoning systems that map attack paths to specific control changes, ranked by effectiveness
- Turn pentest data into training data, analyzing the factors behind attack successes and failures
- Design safety architectures for autonomous changes, including dry-runs, approval gates, and audit trails
Required qualifications
- Strong ML engineering experience with deep learning, transformer models, and PyTorch
- Hands-on experience with post-training large language models or designing agentic systems
- Track record of building evaluation systems for open-ended tasks judged by outcomes
- Experience with structured, heterogeneous real-world data configurations and policy documents
- Master's in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, plus 4+ years of professional engineering experience
