Applied Data Scientist

Job Summary

Seeking a product-minded Applied Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer for a full-time remote position, this role focuses on building, shipping, and scaling ML-powered products that enhance customer decision-making and business operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Drive end-to-end development of machine learning capabilities for customer-facing SaaS products
• Design data and feature pipelines alongside models, managing the entire lifecycle from discovery to monitoring
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Software Engineers to integrate ML into product workflows and user experiences

Required qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in applied data science, machine learning, or ML engineering, with hands-on experience in production
• Strong proficiency in Python and applied ML libraries (e.g., Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow) and solid SQL expertise
• Deep understanding of supervised learning, forecasting, recommendation systems, and statistical modeling
• Familiarity with MLOps concepts and modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery)
• Experience operating within cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
