Job Summary
Working in a hybrid environment, the full-time Applied Data Scientist will actively participate in the development of products focused on fraud detection, anti-money laundering, and claim automation while implementing data engineering solutions and automating business tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in the development of products related to fraud detection, anti-money laundering, and claim automation using various data types
- Implement data engineering processes from client extracts to data storage in SQL and ElasticSearch
- Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models for fraud detection and automation tasks in complex environments
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in C# and SQL, with a focus on writing maintainable, production-quality code
- A degree in machine learning, statistics, or a related field, with a strong understanding of statistical and machine learning concepts
- Experience in client-facing roles, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Interest in learning about the insurance sector and the business aspects of technology solutions
