Job Summary

A company is looking for an Applied ML Engineer (RAG + Ranking).

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement production-grade Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems
• Develop and optimize re-ranking layers using Cross-Encoders for financial datasets
• Integrate hybrid search methods to enhance document retrieval across various types

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Applied Machine Learning or NLP
• Hands-on expertise in advanced chunking strategies, embedding models, and vector databases
• Experience with hybrid search and re-ranking techniques
• Deep understanding of RAG evaluation frameworks and metrics
• Proven ability to work in fast-paced, high-compliance environments, preferably in Banking/FinTech
