Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Applied Philosophy Course Editor will review and edit existing college-level course materials, ensuring they align with current academic standards and industry requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate and adjust recommended updates to existing course structures and materials
- Review course learning outcomes and competencies for accuracy and alignment
- Edit skill-oriented course sections and refine response assignment prompts and rubrics
Required qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Applied Philosophy/Ethics, with the ability to teach ethical reasoning at an introductory college level
- Hands-on fluency with generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Copilot)
- Familiarity with ethical issues and regulations surrounding generative AI
- Experience teaching courses in a college or university setting
- Experience creating, updating, or revising college-level courses
