Applied Research Scientist

Job Summary

To drive innovative generative media synthesis and multimodal understanding, the full-time Applied Research Scientist will work remotely or in a hybrid setting, focusing on developing models for features like Video Regenerate and zero-shot voice cloning.

Key responsibilities

• Build generative models for photorealistic video and audio synthesis as part of production research
• Develop systems for realistic voice and roomtone cloning using minimal reference audio
• Identify and pursue new research directions that can transition from concept to production features

Required qualifications

• Proven ability to design and implement deep learning algorithms, evidenced by publications or shipped models
• Strong programming skills with deep fluency in PyTorch and/or TensorFlow
• A PhD or Master's in deep learning or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience as lead or first author on accepted publications in top machine learning venues
• Track record of generating innovative ideas in machine learning and rapidly testing them
