Job Summary

Transforming complex commercial datasets into actionable insights, the full-time remote Applied Scientist will partner with stakeholders to design experiments, evaluate promotions, and develop predictive models that inform pricing and distribution strategies.

Key responsibilities:

• Partner with commercial, finance, and executive teams to translate complex business questions into actionable analytical problems
• Design and conduct experimental analyses to evaluate promotional effectiveness and model category economics
• Architect and maintain large commercial datasets using SQL and dbt, while building and monitoring market-share forecasting models

Required qualifications:

• Expertise in SQL with the ability to create efficient and maintainable models
• Strong analytical foundation with experience in experimental design and causal inference
• Working fluency in Python, particularly with data analysis libraries like pandas
• Five years of experience in building analyses and models in an industry setting
• Bachelor's degree required; preferred Master's degree in a quantitative field
