Appraisal Analyst

Job Summary

Facilitating the appraisal process, the part-time Appraisal Analyst will order appraisals, communicate with appraisal companies and internal staff, and ensure timely completion of appraisal tasks while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Order appraisals and coordinate with appraisal management companies and internal mortgage department staff
• Monitor appraisal desk email inbox to manage appraisal orders and correspondence efficiently
• Review appraisal reports to address escalations and facilitate borrower appraisal disputes

Required qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of the mortgage industry and pricing strategies related to mortgages
• Ability to work collaboratively with peers, management, and external contractors
• Strong analytical skills to resolve issues and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in responding to emails promptly, ideally within 2 hours
• Experience in ensuring loan transfers are completed within required timeframes
