Job Summary

A company is looking for an Aquaculture Adjunct Faculty Member.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach aquaculture courses for the online baccalaureate program in Marine Biology and Sustainable Aquaculture
  • Deliver courses asynchronously online for five weeks in eight terms throughout the year
  • Design and implement courses such as Sustainable Aquaculture Techniques: Growing Shellfish and Finfish, and Sustainable Aquaculture Techniques: Crustaceans and Pathobiology
Required Qualifications:
  • Terminal degree (e.g. PhD) in Marine Biology or related field, or a master's degree with ample experience in the profession
  • Experience with online teaching and previous use of Canvas is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in operating a personal computer and associated software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the university
