Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and recommend referrals for financial assistance and bad debt
• Verify accuracy of payment postings and resolve discrepancies with payers
• Manage assigned accounts to ensure timely and accurate billing and collections

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of healthcare billing experience, or 5 years in a business office setting
• Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience in a business office setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology and third-party payer guidelines
• Good computer skills, including proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing applications
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
