Job Summary

Leading end-to-end accounts receivable follow-up and denial management, the full-time remote AR and Denial Prevention Manager will oversee AR activities across various payer types, implement denial prevention strategies, and ensure optimal cash flow stabilization.

Key responsibilities
  • Direct and manage AR follow-up activities for all payer types, including Workers' Compensation, Commercial insurance, and Medicare
  • Establish prioritization strategies for AR by payer, aging bucket, and service line while monitoring performance across various aging categories
  • Oversee denial management workflows and lead appeals processes for Medicare, Commercial payers, and Workers' Compensation disputes
Required qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management with a focus on AR and denial management leadership
  • Strong expertise in Workers' Compensation billing, including litigation and lien resolution
  • Demonstrated success in denial prevention and root cause analysis
  • Experience with multiple EHR/Practice Management systems such as IMS, Nextgen, or Athena
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and solid skills in other Microsoft Office applications
