AR Collections Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an AR Collections Specialist focused on Mental Health and Addiction.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily audits of client accounts to ensure accuracy in billing and authorization
• Address rejected claims by merging, editing, and ensuring proper filing according to billing rules
• Document actions throughout the claim life cycle and identify trends in claim rejections and denials

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical billing or related fields
• Experience with Lean Process Management (Lean Six Sigma or Kaizen) preferred but not required
• CPC, CPAT, or CPAM certifications preferred but not required
• Must have a personal computer that meets company software and security standards
