AR Collections Specialist

Job Summary

To support a dedicated team in behavioral healthcare, the full-time AR Collections Specialist will manage claim audits, submissions, and rejections remotely while ensuring compliance with billing regulations and maintaining accurate patient accounts.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct daily audits of client accounts to verify program, authorization, and billing accuracy
• Address and resolve rejected claims by filing corrective claims and providing necessary documentation to payers
• Update electronic medical records and maintain compliance with productivity and accuracy standards

Required qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical billing or revenue cycle management
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or similar process management methodologies is a plus
• Proficiency with personal computers and relevant software, adhering to security standards
• Knowledge of state and federal patient confidentiality laws and billing regulations
