AR Follow Up Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for an AR Follow Up Representative - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and resolve uncollected account balances by contacting payors and patients
• Document account actions and maintain current desk inventory to meet productivity goals
• Participate in meetings and training to enhance job knowledge and compliance with regulations

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business administration or accounting preferred
• 1-4 years of medical claims and/or hospital collections experience
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate patient accounting applications
• Minimum typing requirement of 45 wpm
• Understanding of revenue cycle processes and insurance collections
