AR Follow Up Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an AR Follow Up Specialist to manage insurance claims and resolve payment issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up on unresolved insurance claims and check claim status
• Identify reasons for non-payment and take actions to resolve issues
• Manage patient balances as assigned and perform additional duties as needed

Qualifications and Requirements

• 2+ years of A/R follow-up (Insurance Collections) experience required
• Medical billing experience is helpful
• Hospital claims and healthcare receivables experience preferred
• 2+ years of office experience with a focus on problem solving and research
• Prior computer experience is required
