AR Follow Up Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an AR Follow Up Specialist - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and resolve uncollected account balances by contacting third-party payors and patients
• Document account actions and maintain productivity and quality standards while managing desk inventory
• Participate in meetings and training to enhance job knowledge and ensure compliance with regulations

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business administration or accounting preferred
• 1-4 years of medical claims and/or hospital collections experience
• Basic knowledge of Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid insurance
• Intermediate skill in Microsoft Office applications
• Minimum typing requirement of 45 words per minute
