AR Follow Up Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an AR Follow Up Specialist, responsible for managing unresolved insurance claims and ensuring payment resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up on unresolved claims with insurance carriers
• Research and identify reasons for non-payment from payers
• Take actions to resolve claim issues and follow up on patient balances as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements

• 2+ years of A/R follow-up (Insurance Collections) experience required
• Medical billing experience is helpful
• Hospital claims and healthcare receivables experience preferred
• 2+ years of office experience with a focus on problem solving and research
• Prior computer experience is required
