AR Follow Up Team Lead

Job Summary

Managing A/R workflow remotely, the full-time AR Follow Up Team Lead will oversee the resolution of unpaid claims, ensure team productivity and accuracy, and facilitate communication between insurance operations and call center teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the account resolution process and implement proactive measures to prevent escalations
• Ensure timely follow-up on unresolved claims and manage actions to secure payments or closure of insurance balances
• Monitor reports for trends and unusual occurrences, escalating issues and implementing corrective actions as needed

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of A/R follow-up experience in insurance collections is required
• Medical billing experience is helpful; hospital claims and healthcare receivables experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of office experience with a focus on problem-solving and research
• Ability to summarize account details concisely and possess excellent verbal communication skills
