AR Follow Up Team Lead

Job Summary

Managing A/R workflow remotely, the full-time AR Follow Up Team Lead will oversee the resolution of unpaid claims, ensuring productivity and accuracy benchmarks are met while serving as a key communication link between insurance operations and call center teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Supervise the account resolution process to proactively address issues and prevent escalations
• Ensure timely follow-up on unresolved claims and appeals to facilitate payments from carriers
• Monitor team performance and implement corrective actions based on trends and unusual occurrences

Required qualifications:

• 2+ years of A/R follow-up (Insurance Collections) experience is required
• Medical billing experience is helpful; hospital claims experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of office experience with a focus on problem-solving and research
• Ability to summarize account details concisely and possess excellent verbal communication skills
