AR Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an AR Revenue Cycle Specialist III who will manage the collection of unpaid claims and resolve complex appeals.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and appeal unpaid third-party claims using various billing applications
• Conduct research on medical policies and prepare appeals documentation
• Mentor junior specialists and recommend improvements based on denial trends

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Three years of experience in medical billing or insurance follow-up
• Significant experience with Epic Resolute for A/R functions
• Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT codes, and diagnosis coding
• Additional education may substitute for experience as permitted
