AR Specialist 2

Job Summary

A company is looking for an AR Specialist 2.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify/obtain eligibility and/or status of claims
• Update patient demographics/insurance information
• Research unpaid or denied claims and secure payment from payers

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of medical collections/billing experience
• Intermediate knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and NCCI
• Intermediate knowledge of third-party billing guidelines and claim forms
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and health information systems
• Experience with Epic and working with Anesthesia/Radiology provider claims preferred
