Arc Flash Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Arc Flash Electrical Engineer to support utility customers with electrical/power systems and arc flash studies.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and evaluate new and existing electrical/power systems across various facilities
• Conduct power systems modeling, power flow, short circuit analysis, and arc flash studies for medium and low voltage power distribution
• Oversee field data collection and build engineering models for arc flash analysis

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required
• Mid Level: Minimum of four years, Senior Level: Minimum of eight years of relevant Arc Flash Electrical Engineering experience
• PE or ability to obtain a professional license is highly preferred
• Experience with NFPA 70E and IEEE standards for Arc Flash Hazard Analysis
• Proficiency in using Arc Flash software (e.g., Cyme, Synergi, WindMil, ETAP) for analysis reports
