Architectural Associate

Job Summary

Joining a collaborative team of design professionals, the full-time Architectural Associate will support architectural planning and design for diverse projects, prepare construction documents, and assist with site evaluations and feasibility studies in the Charlotte, North Carolina office.

Key responsibilities

• Support architectural planning, programming, and design for projects of varying size and complexity
• Prepare project drawings, renderings, presentations, and construction documents using industry-standard software
• Conduct research and assist with code research, impact studies, and cost analyses to inform design decisions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited program and 3+ years of relevant architectural experience
• Eligibility to begin the Architect Registration Examination (ARE) process is strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of state and local building codes and zoning ordinances
• Proficiency with architectural production software and construction document development
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple project assignments
