Architectural Designer - Retail

Job Summary

To support the Retail studio, the remote Architectural Designer - Retail will provide design support in project administration, design development, and contract documents, specifically focusing on Grocery and Food & Beverage sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Create and review contract documents (CDs) for compliance with standards and codes
• Manage projects through the contract administration phase, including invoicing and budget adherence
• Coordinate with engineering consultants and mentor junior designers on project tasks

Required qualifications

• Graduate of architecture or design school, with equivalent experience considered
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Retail design projects
• Extensive knowledge of design principles, building systems, codes, and ADA requirements
• Advanced skills in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite
• Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite and documentation procedures
