Architectural Metals Estimator

Job Summary

As a key member of the Major Projects and Architectural Team, the full-time remote Architectural Metals Estimator will develop accurate cost projections for high-profile projects, including sports venues and commercial developments, by analyzing bid documents and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare project estimates by reviewing RFPs, blueprints, specifications, and related documentation
• Develop detailed cost estimates, including labor and materials, and create Bills of Materials (BOM) for assigned projects
• Identify potential risks related to scope, cost, manufacturability, and installation, and communicate findings effectively

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
• 3-5 years of estimating experience in commercial construction preferred
• Strong understanding of construction principles and ability to read architectural drawings
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and ERP systems
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
