Area Contract Manager

Job Summary

To support the Design, Engineering, and Construction team within the Infrastructure Data Center organization, the Area Contract Manager will manage contract negotiations, execution, and change management processes for large-scale data center projects remotely on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary commercial and contractual subject matter expert for data center design and construction contracts across the central region
• Lead the review, negotiation, and approval of contract changes, including change orders and claims submitted by General Contractors and Trade Partners
• Identify, assess, and escalate commercial and contractual risks while partnering with Area Managers, Legal, and Sourcing to develop mitigation strategies

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in contract management or construction commercial management within large-scale capital construction or infrastructure programs
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Legal Studies, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in data center or large-scale infrastructure construction programs with complex commissioning requirements
• Demonstrated experience in negotiating complex construction claims or dispute resolution processes
• Familiarity with Google applications and electronic signing tools like Adobe Sign
