Area Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Area Coordinator responsible for community and student development in residence halls.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision for a residential area of up to 600 students, including Graduate Assistants and Resident Advisors
• Support residents through programming, mentoring, and referrals to foster their academic, emotional, and social development
• Coordinate the development of impactful programs and oversee the programming budget in collaboration with staff

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• One to three years of related experience in residence hall supervision
• Commitment to student development and understanding of social justice principles
• Ability to interact effectively with diverse students and staff
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
