Area Manager, Fleet Operations

Job Summary

Managing day-to-day Fleet Operations activities, the full-time Area Manager, Fleet Operations will execute strategic initiatives, oversee driver and vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while working onsite or remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to strategic direction, workforce training, and regulatory compliance across fleet operations
• Develop and document operating policies and objectives to align the team for success
• Manage fleet activities, including load selection and performance metrics, while fostering a high-performance culture among drivers

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or Industrial Engineering
• 5+ years of leadership management experience in Truck Fleet Operations or a related field
• APICS certification preferred
• Certified Transportation Professional (CTP) preferred
