Job Summary

A company is looking for an Area Sales Manager to lead and manage a sales team across multiple states in the agriculture industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, lead, coach, and develop the Area Sales Team to meet sales and income targets
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align strategies and build relationships with key customers
• Develop and execute annual and long-term area business plans while managing sales expense budgets

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Nutrition, Ag Business, or related field required
• 7+ years of successful sales experience, with 5+ years in the agriculture industry
• Nutrition knowledge and experience with applicable species
• Strong general management skills, including budget management and talent development
• Proven track record of volume growth in value-added products
