Arista Wireless Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary

Serving as the technical authority for enterprise wireless architecture, the contracted Arista Wireless Subject Matter Expert will lead design and deployment efforts for Arista's next-generation wireless platforms, focusing on Cognitive Wi-Fi and CloudVision solutions while working remotely and mentoring delivery teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design enterprise-grade wireless solutions leveraging Arista's cognitive networking capabilities and develop high-level and low-level wireless designs
• Lead and direct wireless deployment efforts, ensuring alignment with Arista cognitive design principles and mentoring junior engineers
• Participate in pre-sales scoping calls and provide technical support, validating assumptions for proposals and addressing delivery issues

Required qualifications

• Hands-on design, deployment, and operational experience with Arista Cognitive Wi-Fi access point platforms and CloudVision Cognitive Unified Edge
• Track record of enterprise wireless design and deployment, primarily with Arista cognitive wireless solutions
• Demonstrable ability to lead design and delivery teams and mentor engineers
• Experience with enterprise Aruba wireless design and deployment, as well as familiarity with Juniper Mist and Cisco wireless architectures
• Strong communication skills to interact with technical and executive stakeholders
