Arista Wireless Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary

To support a professional IT services organization, the contracted Arista Wireless Subject Matter Expert will serve as the technical authority for enterprise wireless architecture, focusing on designing, deploying, and supporting Arista's next-generation wireless platforms while mentoring delivery teams remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design enterprise-grade wireless solutions leveraging Arista's cognitive networking capabilities and develop high-level and low-level wireless designs
• Lead and direct wireless deployment efforts in customer environments, ensuring alignment with Arista cognitive design principles while mentoring junior engineers
• Participate in pre-sales scoping calls, providing input on transitioning customers from legacy Wi-Fi environments to Arista solutions and validating technical assumptions for proposals

Required qualifications

• Hands-on design, deployment, and operational experience with Arista Cognitive Wi-Fi access point platforms (Wi-Fi 6/6E/7) and CloudVision Cognitive Unified Edge (CV-CUE)
• Track record of enterprise wireless design and deployment, primarily focused on Arista cognitive wireless solutions
• Demonstrable ability to lead design and delivery teams and mentor engineers in real time
• Experience with HPE Aruba, Juniper Mist, Cisco, and Nile wireless platforms
• Strong communication skills to interact confidently with technical and executive stakeholders
