Arista Wireless Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary

To support a growing IT services organization, the contracted Arista Wireless Subject Matter Expert will serve as the technical authority for enterprise wireless architecture, focusing on designing, deploying, and supporting Arista's next-generation wireless platforms, while mentoring delivery teams and participating in pre-sales activities.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary wireless domain expert, designing enterprise-grade wireless solutions leveraging Arista's cognitive networking capabilities
• Lead and direct wireless deployment efforts, ensuring alignment with Arista cognitive design principles while mentoring junior engineers
• Participate in pre-sales scoping calls, providing detailed input on transitioning customers from legacy Wi-Fi environments to Arista solutions

Required qualifications

• Hands-on design, deployment, and operational experience with Arista Cognitive Wi-Fi access point platforms
• Demonstrable ability to lead design and delivery teams and mentor engineers in real time
• Experience with enterprise wireless design and deployment, primarily focused on Arista cognitive wireless solutions
• Communication skills to interact confidently with technical and executive stakeholders
• Ability to balance design, deployment, and escalation responsibilities simultaneously
