Arista Wireless Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary

To support a growing IT services organization, the contracted Arista Wireless Subject Matter Expert will serve as the technical authority for enterprise wireless architecture, focusing on the design, deployment, and support of Arista's next-generation wireless platforms while mentoring delivery teams remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design enterprise-grade wireless solutions leveraging Arista's cognitive networking capabilities and develop high-level and low-level wireless designs
• Lead wireless deployment efforts in customer environments, ensuring alignment with Arista cognitive design principles while mentoring junior engineers
• Participate in pre-sales scoping calls, providing input on transitioning customers from legacy Wi-Fi environments to Arista solutions and validating technical assumptions for proposals

Required qualifications

• Hands-on design, deployment, and operational experience with Arista Cognitive Wi-Fi access point platforms and CloudVision Cognitive Unified Edge (CV-CUE)
• Track record of enterprise wireless design and deployment, primarily with Arista cognitive wireless solutions
• Demonstrable ability to lead design and delivery teams and mentor engineers in real time
• Strong communication skills to interact confidently with technical and executive stakeholders
• Ability to balance design, deployment, and escalation responsibilities simultaneously
