Arista Wireless Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary

Serving as a technical authority for enterprise wireless architecture, the contracted Arista Wireless Subject Matter Expert will design, deploy, and support Arista's next-generation wireless platforms, including Cognitive Wi-Fi and CloudVision, while working remotely and potentially transitioning to a full-time role.

Key responsibilities

• Design enterprise-grade wireless solutions leveraging Arista's cognitive networking capabilities and develop high-level and low-level wireless designs
• Lead and direct wireless deployment efforts, ensuring alignment with Arista cognitive design principles, while mentoring junior engineers
• Participate in pre-sales scoping calls, providing technical input and validating assumptions for proposals based on experience with Arista technologies

Required qualifications

• Hands-on design, deployment, and operational experience with Arista Cognitive Wi-Fi access point platforms (Wi-Fi 6/6E/7)
• Experience with CloudVision Cognitive Unified Edge (CV-CUE) centralized management and cognitive analytics
• Proven track record in enterprise wireless design and deployment, primarily with Arista solutions
• Ability to lead design and delivery teams and mentor engineers effectively
• Strong communication skills for interaction with technical and executive stakeholders
