Job Summary
Providing essential support to the community, the part-time Arizona 211 Program Specialist will respond to calls, identify needs, and connect individuals to appropriate resources while documenting interactions and outcomes remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide phone-based confidential information, referrals, and advocacy for health and social services
- Document unmet needs and customer interactions to assist in identifying service gaps through data reporting
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while demonstrating an understanding of social services and community resources in Arizona
Required qualifications:
- 0-2 years of experience in health and human services, public health, or healthcare; call center experience preferred
- GED or High School Diploma
- Strong knowledge of community resources, particularly in mental health, housing, and healthcare
- Bilingual Spanish is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Records (EHR)
