Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Arizona Licensed Academic Counselor will provide academic advisement, coaching, and customer service to students throughout their lifecycle, ensuring they have access to necessary information and support for their academic progression.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with students to assess their needs and develop personalized academic plans to facilitate their progression
• Provide accurate information on degree options, program requirements, and University policies to support informed decision-making
• Maintain professional relationships with internal departments to enhance the student experience and recommend improvements based on feedback

Required qualifications

• Must have a completed bachelor's degree prior to applying
• Reside in Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, Idaho, or Texas
• Proficient in using various software applications, including CRM systems and Microsoft applications
• General knowledge of the higher education industry and current trends
• Strong analytical skills to assess student needs and determine appropriate actions
