Job Summary
To support members in reducing or eliminating alcohol use, the part-time Arizona Licensed Alcohol Counselor will provide individualized coaching, develop care plans, and facilitate evidence-based interventions in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate new members and formulate individualized care plans through standardized intake processes
- Facilitate individual coaching sessions via video/phone calls and app-based communication channels
- Monitor health outcomes and manage a caseload of members, ensuring coordination of care and case management services
Required qualifications
- Certified as an alcohol and drug counselor in Arizona or equivalent certification recognized by IC&RC
- 3-5 years of experience in alcohol use disorder or addiction treatment
- BA/BS or MA in a related field preferred
- Experience with EMR systems, Zoom conferencing, and app-based applications
- Knowledgeable of evidence-based treatment programs and harm reduction models
