Arizona Licensed Authorization Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Access Services Authorization Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform insurance verification and authorization functions for various service lines
• Provide necessary information regarding authorization numbers and maintain records of referral activity
• Respond to provider orders and obtain authorizations while staying current on payer requirements

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High school diploma/GED is required
• Minimum of three years of experience in healthcare insurance and/or authorizations
• Advanced abilities in common office software, including word processing and spreadsheets
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently
• Excellent organizational skills and human relations skills are required
