Arizona Licensed Authorization Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Access Services Authorization Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform insurance verification and authorization functions for Patient Access Services
• Provide necessary information regarding authorization numbers and maintain records of referral activity
• Respond to provider orders for tests and procedures, obtaining necessary authorizations from payers

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required
• Minimum of three years of experience in healthcare insurance and/or authorizations
• Business skills and experience in the assigned work area are required
• Advanced abilities in common office software, including word processing and spreadsheets
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision
