Job Summary

A company is looking for an Auto Physical Damage Claims Specialist responsible for handling automobile physical damage claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate automobile insurance claims to determine coverage, liability, and damages
• Communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders to explain repair and total loss processes
• Appraise damaged vehicles and prepare fair, accurate repair estimates using claims estimating software

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework or insurance-related education preferred
• Minimum of two to three years of experience as a 1st party Auto Physical Damage Adjuster
• Active Adjuster's license(s) as required by state(s) of operation
• Preferred experience handling commercial trucking and specialty or heavy equipment claims
• Current technical knowledge of auto collision repair techniques and industry standards
