Job Summary
Representing secured creditors in consumer Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy cases, the full-time Arizona Licensed Bankruptcy Attorney will manage routine bankruptcy matters, draft and review pleadings, and attend scheduled hearings in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Primarily manages bankruptcy routine matters and resolves issues such as Motions for Relief and Objections to Confirmation
- Drafts and reviews all pleadings and claims filed in bankruptcy cases
- Communicates regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and the Court while monitoring electronic filings
Required qualifications
- Law degree (JD) with a license to practice law in Arizona
- Admitted to District and/or Bankruptcy Courts in Arizona
- 3+ years of bankruptcy experience preferred, but candidates with less experience may be considered
- Working knowledge of the Bankruptcy Code and Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure
- Understanding of creditor rights laws and bankruptcy rules
