Job Summary
To support a growing virtual mental health practice, the full-time Behavioral Health Credentialing Specialist will manage credentialing processes, track documentation, and ensure compliance with regulations while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain credentialing and contracting boards, ensuring all provider documentation is complete and compliant
- Verify provider credentials, licenses, and certifications, and manage CAQH profiles for new and existing providers
- Follow up on individual and group applications to ensure timely approval and address any issues related to contracts and denied claims
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience with credentialing and contracting for behavioral health
- Spanish speaking skills are a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards
- Proficiency in using credentialing software and tracking systems
