Job Summary

A company is looking for a Charge Specialist Outpatient Infusion.

Key Responsibilities

• Review patient records and assign appropriate billing codes using coding software and charge codes
• Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical documentation and maintain knowledge of procedural terminology requirements
• Collaborate with other staff to ensure consistency in charging and coding practices across the system

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience in a clinical or medical office setting
• Knowledgeable in medical terminology and regulatory agency requirements for coding and charging
• Proficient with common office software, coding and billing software, and electronic medical records systems
• Experience with CPT coding and relevant certifications such as CCS or CPC preferred
