Job Summary
To support the educational journey of future teachers, the part-time Arizona Licensed Children's Literature Faculty will provide online instruction in children's literature, facilitating discussions, assessing student performance, and adhering to grading timelines.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate weekly discussion forums to engage students in the online classroom
- Adhere to grading requirements and deadlines while assessing student performance
- Respond to student inquiries within established timeframes, fostering a supportive learning environment
Required qualifications
- Preferred: Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction, Instructional Leadership, Elementary Education, Learning and Teaching, Teaching Innovation, Literacy, or Reading
- Minimum: Master's degree in Education, Elementary Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Literacy, or Reading with expertise in two areas
- Valid state teacher certification in Elementary Education with an Endorsement in Early Childhood Education
- At least three years of experience as an elementary classroom teacher or related role
- At least six graduate credits in elementary reading, literacy, or reading assessment and diagnosis
